Vedic Life meditation is a simple effortless natural technique of meditation which is different from other forms of meditation commonly taught in the world today.

Vedic Life meditation has its source in the proper understanding of the yoga sutras of Patanjali as brought to light by Swami Shailendra Saraswati under the guidance of His Holiness Maharishi Mahesh Yogi. It does not involve sitting in any complicated or uncomfortable position nor does it involve any concentration of effort of the mind. The practice of Vedic life meditation produces a deep state of rest of the body and the mind which is more than twice as deep as in the deepest part of sleep. This deep rest of the body releases the stresses of the nervous system and makes available the nervous system which was earlier not being used because of being tied up in stresses. This release of stresses results in the enhancement of the functioning of the nervous system, which in turn results in increased intelligence as measured by IQ, increase creativity and better health.
